Grab their attention as soon as they pull up to the party! Balloons, signs, and a kid friendly atmosphere all play into what your guests feel and think. 3. It’s all about the CAKE!
Well, for me it’s all about the cake! But, it can also be cookies, cupcakes, ice cream, or maybe pie! (Let’s be honest. I’m here for it all!) Whatever dessert or treat you choose, make it one of the highlights of the party. It’s a family tradition for us to light candles and sing to the birthday kiddo and there are always amazing photo ops when you catch the moment your little one sees the cake for the first time! 4. Plan engaging and fun activities for your guests!
When they come for a train party, give them some fun train themed activities to do! If you are struggling to find the most fun train-themed activities head over to my Big Fun for Little Guests post. We have so many fun ideas that you can pick your favorite ideas and run with them! The most important thing is to keep your train guests in mind. How old are they? What are some activities that will be fun for a wide age range? How long is your train party and how many activities can you fit into that timeframe? Your engineer guests are going to be excited about whatever game or entertainment you plan, so just make sure to take time to plan in some fun!
5. Be present for to enjoy the party!
There is nothing worse than planning an epic party and then being too tired, overwhelmed, or stressed to enjoy it! Take time to rest up before the party so you can really be present and take in all the fun! Make sure you get a full nights sleep the night before the party because if you are not at your best, you will not be at your best. Don’t put your mental or physical health on the back burner.
